We finished our training on Friday, but we still had to celebrate properly. We didn't stay idle for long and on Saturday evening we went to a pub. Different than before. Zsolti told us about this one with the cheapest beer in town and that he would wait for us there. Paula, Natasha and I arrived in the first wave. Denis, Nikol and Bruce were working with huskies, so they came later. It was still pretty empty this early. We had a beer, two, and talked. Zsolti shared his experiences from guiding and we laughed a lot. And we also did some tasting, three in total, so that we could get to know Finland from another perspective - the alcoholic one. The first shot was mustikka - blueberry liqueur served with a dollop of whipped cream. I liked that one the most! The second was salmari - liquorice liqueur, probably with a little salt. Although I don't really like the taste of licorice, the alcoholic version wasn't so bad. And lastly, we had fizu \u2013 a vodka-based spirit flavoured with mint, that tasted like mouthwash, not for me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pub gradually filled up, especially since it was Saturday and there was a dance floor upstairs, so there was probably a party going on. When we left, it was snowing outside. We were catching snowflakes and enjoying our long walk home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monday was a day full of surprises. The morning was sensational because I had a scheduled phone call with a friend I hadn't heard from in a long time. I was walking around the city, talking with him and time flew by. It made me very happy! While walking, I also discovered a new (for me) caf\u00e9 that I absolutely had to try. But what didn't happen? Instead of coffee, I stayed there for lunch because they offered waffles in many ways. Plus, free tea and coffee with lunch! You can't resist that! And so I had another tasting moment \u2013 \u200b\u200bwaffles with smoked salmon and a mega portion of salad, two cups of tea and a cup of coffee at the end. Perfect! There was so much that I almost didn't finish it, and I was once again glad that we live far and I could walk it off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Doma jsem si dala chvilku volno, ale pak nazula boty a \u0161la b\u011bhat, i kdy\u017e tro\u0161ku mr\u0148kalo. Na\u0161la jsem si tu takov\u00fd mal\u00fd okruh, asi 5km, chvilku lesem, chvilku pod\u00e9l trati, chvilku po chodn\u00edku, takov\u00e1 hezk\u00e1 kombinace lehce mimo m\u011bsto. P\u0159ib\u011bhla jsem dom\u016f a t\u011b\u0161ila se na sprchu. Byla jsem nachystan\u00e1, zabalen\u00e1 jen v\u00a0ru\u010dn\u00edku (do sprchy to m\u00e1m z\u00a0pokoje p\u0159esn\u011b 4 kroky), vzala jsem za kliku, klika se proto\u010dila a dve\u0159e se neotev\u0159ely. U\u017e n\u011bkolikr\u00e1t mi z\u016fstala klika v\u00a0ruce, ale v\u017edycky kdy\u017e jsem byla uvnit\u0159 a \u0161lo dve\u0159e otev\u0159\u00edt. Tentokr\u00e1t ne. Zkou\u0161ely jsme s\u00a0holkama v\u0161echno mo\u017en\u00e9, ale dve\u0159e z\u016fstaly zav\u0159en\u00e9! Zavolali jsme Andr\u00e9se a sl\u00edbil, \u017ee n\u00e1m je p\u0159ijede spravit. Ale co j\u00e1? Fakt jsem tu sprchu pot\u0159ebovala HNED! No, nezbylo nic jin\u00e9ho ne\u017e zavolat Bruceovi a zeptat se, jestli m\u016f\u017eu vyu\u017e\u00edt sprchu u n\u011bj v\u00a0druh\u00e9m byt\u011b. Bruce sice nebyl doma, ale dostala jsem povolen\u00ed na sprchu. St\u00e1le zabalen\u00e1 v\u00a0ru\u010dn\u00edku jsem pro\u0161la chodbou (pro informaci – je to jen p\u00e1r metr\u016f a jinak tady asi nikdo nebydl\u00ed), otev\u0159ela si dve\u0159e a vyu\u017eila mnohem v\u011bt\u0161\u00ed sprchu, ne\u017e m\u00e1me my. Nicm\u00e9n\u011b po chvilce jsem usly\u0161ela, jak se otev\u0159ely dve\u0159e (ne do sprchy!) a n\u011bkdo ve\u0161el do bytu. \u0158\u00edkala jsem si, \u017ee se Bruce dost rychle vr\u00e1til z\u00a0pr\u00e1ce. Ale jak\u00e9 bylo m\u00e9 p\u0159ekvapen\u00ed, kdy\u017e jsem v\u00a0byt\u011b na\u0161la \u00fapln\u011b ciz\u00ed p\u00e1r! Zmohla jsem se jen na \u201eAhoj\u201c a ode\u0161la. Pro m\u011b to byl trochu \u0161ok, ale co pro n\u011b! Jdou si prohl\u00eddnout byt, kde budou bydlet, a najednou ze sprchy vyjde ciz\u00ed \u017eensk\u00e1 jen v ru\u010dn\u00edku, pozdrav\u00ed a odejde. Docela jsem se nasm\u00e1la.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andr\u00e9s then came to fix the door and told me that I would have my first tour that evening. As soon as he said that, my heart started racing and I was getting nervous! Today already!!!! I had a few hours to catch my breath, but I was still nervous. Luckily, Zsolti was going with me, which gave me confidence that if I couldn't do something, he would save the day (or the night). He has a lot of experience, lots of special tricks and is simply the best! He is great with people, I enjoyed watching him and learning from him. The weather was not in our favor, the sky was covered in clouds and it rained alternately. Luckily, the whole group (4 people) was understanding and we managed to take some photos, warm ourselves by the fire, talk, make some sausages, have warm juice and biscuits. It was nice. I hope that with more tours, I will improve and find my own way to make people's time more enjoyable, to pass on something, and to make them laugh.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
